Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Vice President of Marketing

FLSA status: Exempt/Salary


SUMMARY

Responsible for devising, implementing, and managing online marketing efforts. Makes sure content is up to date and measures success of web site and social media via Google analytics. Creates lead generation programs and measures success via company marketing automation platform. Takes leadership role supporting and maintaining marketing automation and consistently monitors and updates processes to tie campaigns back to sales. This function is also responsible for training sales and marketing personnel in how to use marketing automation. This role will also work to develop content, prepare scripts as well as shoot and edit videos for online distribution. Social media platforms will be maintained and monitored and training of SOR staff will be conducted in this position.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or Similar Discipline preferred.
  • 5 years of product, market, engineering, and sales management experience or equivalent.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT

  • Oversees WordPress website, updates content, and measures success of web pages via Google Analytics
  • Build out and monitor workflows for Request for Quote forms, landing pages and Rep/Product/Industry changes on SOR Controls Group website.
  • Oversees social media platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Schedules posts to various channels, tracks results, provide baseline analysis and trains key stakeholders within the organization about how to update profiles and post.
  • Manage HubSpot marketing automation.
  • Craft marketing emails, press releases and campaign. Utilize HubSpot as tool to manage the campaigns and track the leads, to opportunities, to quote to sale.
  • Creates and maintains email list for email marketing campaigns.
  • Trains sales and marketing personnel in how to use HubSpot.
  • Coordinate video content such as script writing, shooting, editing (Premier Pro video editing software Develop specific goals for video content and measure performance.
  • Assist with coordination and development of online training and educational programs for sales force and end users. Develop annual online training calendar and promotion of training to sales channel.
  • Research competitors’ online presence by identifying products, market share, sales channels, and digital advertising reach.
  • Project management of company and departmental initiatives as identified.
  • Minimum travel required.
  • All other functions/responsibilities assigned by the manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelors of associate degree in digital marketing.
  • Well versed in the use of social media as a marketing tool.
  • Very experienced with website metrics and best practices.
  • Extensive experience with search engine optimization, lead generation and email marketing.
  • Well versed with the use of HubSpot and Marketing automation.
  • Experience developing targeted email campaigns.
  • Strong ability to create, manage, and modify documents in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Word Press and a content management system.
  • Experience writing a video script, shooting video, and editing video in Adobe Premier Pro.
  • Excellent writing skills and oral communication skills.
  • Competency in common business software platforms.
  • Basic math: the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work on site and not remotely.
